Associate or Experienced Supply Chain Specialist
About The Position
Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for an Associate or Experienced Supply Chain Specialist to join our BGS-G Supply Chain Planning team in Hazelwood, MO. This role will play a critical part in enhancing our supply chain operations and supporting strategic initiatives. This role will report to the director and their leadership team as well as lead various high priority initiatives and special projects. Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate & Experienced Supply Chain Specialists.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in Supplier Management/Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer, Supplier Program Manager, Supply Chain Management Analyst/Item Manager, or Supply Base Manager
- 1+ years of experience with project management
- 1+ years of experience leveraging data analytics’ methods to solve complex problems
- 1+ years of experience with Microsoft office suite
Nice To Haves
- Bachelors Degree or higher
- 2+ years of experience with Asset Management
- Experience working on Government Performance Based Logistics Programs
Responsibilities
- Provides continuous assessment of overall meeting/review architecture.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among various departments to ensure alignment on supply chain initiatives.
- Monitor supply chain performance metrics and provide insights for continuous improvement.
- Work closely with teams to troubleshoot issues, resolve obstacles, and drive successful project execution.
- Assist the leadership team in identifying and prioritizing key initiatives that align with the company’s strategic supply chain goals.
- Prepare and present reports, analyses, and recommendations to the leadership team.
- Occasionally sit-in for and represent the interests of the director in various meetings.
- Ensure that actions and support of the various leadership teams that the director sits on are properly actioned.
- Help identify and track opportunities for culture improvement initiatives across the organization.
- Participate in and support various special projects as assigned by the Director or leadership team.
- Conduct research and analysis to inform project decisions and strategies.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful execution and delivery of project objectives.
