About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for an Associate (Level 2) or Experienced (Level 3) Quality Engineer to join our team in Renton or Everett, Washington. The primary responsibilities include representing the Quality function on team activities to integrate contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements into all aspects of proposals and program processes and documentation. The role involves providing Quality interpretation of requirements, developing quality metrics, design and production certification plans for small programs to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements, conducting capability assessments and process validations to support supplier selection activities, participating in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs, performing analysis, tests and process audits to ensure manufacturing and test readiness, providing material review dispositions for non-conformances, analyzing non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions, recommending corrective actions to address non-conformances, and performing benchmarking and other forms of analysis to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved. The position works under general direction.

Requirements

  • Level 2: 2+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Level 3: 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree.

  • Prior working experience in multi-functions (quality engineering, industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, system engineering, design engineering, etc).
