Patients can expect friendly and attentive care from the expert team who deliver a spectrum of vision and eye health services, specializing in medical optometry, internal eye diseases, myopia control, surgical co-management for laser eye surgery, vision training, and specialty contact lenses such as keratoconus. To support ongoing business growth and expand the office hours of operation, the practice is looking to add an Associate Optometrist to the highly-trained staff of 10 employees. At Advanced Eyecare Optometry, the doctors leverage advanced diagnostic technologies, enabling them to provide the highest level of patient-centered care. The practice is well equipped with state-of-the-art equipment such as the Zeiss OCT Optos Retinal Scanning Laser, and Humphrey Auto-Refractor, frequency doubling technology, and visual field analyzer. The practice features a modern eyewear boutique with hundreds of designer frames of all styles. Patients enjoy personalized attention from the Opticians who help select fashionable eyewear that compliments lifestyle and fashion sense—all in a relaxed, friendly, caring atmosphere. About the Associate Optometrist Opening Advanced Eyecare Optometry is seeking a full-time Associate Optometrist passionate about providing personalized and individualized care to ensure excellent eye health and vision care for all patients. You'll provide comprehensive eye care, medical eye care such as glaucoma treatment, educate patients about their ocular health, and recommend vision-enhancing products—approximately 16 to 20 patients are cared for daily. The business is currently looking for an Optometrist to work with them on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, but could expand to five days per week! Advanced Eyecare Optometry is looking for a personable team player with excellent clinical and patient communication skills. For the right Associate Optometrist, a future partnership opportunity may be available. To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate leadership, communication, interpersonal skills, and compassion for patient health and safety. In addition, the ideal candidate will want to develop skills through mentorship with experienced doctors continuously and to integrate new techniques and innovations that improve patient care and services.

Requirements

Optometry license in the state of California
Glaucoma certification
Personable team player
