Backed by a skilled team of 15 employees, the practice provides comprehensive services, including full-scope primary care, glaucoma and disease management, specialty contact lenses, myopia management, and dry eye treatment. By combining advanced technology with a commitment to individualized care, Opticare Vision Centers ensures every patient receives the highest level of service in a supportive and welcoming environment, while continually striving to enhance care with the latest advancements in the field. What you'll do: As an Associate Optometrist, you will have the opportunity to provide comprehensive optometric care to a diverse group of patients, ensuring optimal vision health for individuals of all ages. Utilizing advanced technology, such as a fundus camera, OCT, and topography, along with several exam lanes, you will deliver accurate diagnoses and personalized treatment plans. Your responsibilities will include fitting and evaluating various contact lens modalities, maintaining detailed electronic health records, ensuring professional communication with patients, promoting healthy vision through patient counseling, and fostering a culture of education among staff. You will supervise the design, fitting, and dispensing of ophthalmic materials, and provide coverage for emergency calls when necessary. This position offers full-time hours ranging from 36 to 40 hours per week, and part-time hours of 25 or fewer per week, allowing you to complete 15 to 16 comprehensive exams each day, along with 2 to 3 follow-up visits. Requirements

  • Optometry license in the state of Ohio
  • Graduation from an accredited school
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong personal ethics and a professional demeanor
