Hannibal is a manufacturing facility of approximately 1000 employees serving the Meals & Baking Solutions (MBS) and Snacks Operating Units. Other beloved products we produce are Progresso, Old El Paso, Nature Valley and Betty Crocker. We operate in a dynamic business environment, with a rich history of performance and growth. We have a diverse and complex product portfolio that ranges from USDA thermally processed canned soups to allergen management on chewy bars. Last year, Hannibal produced +70MM cases across 7 platforms and 17 production lines.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 5 years manufacturing experience.
  • Ability to work off shift as business needs demand.
  • Demonstrated supply chain leadership and working in a highly collaborative environment.
  • Success in driving results through process and teamwork.
  • Proven success reducing losses and improving performance in a manufacturing setting.
  • Demonstrated technical capability and knowledge of unit operations and manufacturing machinery.
  • Skilled at communicating between work groups and cross-functional resources.
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing data analysis systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in a Technical, Science, Engineering field of study.
  • 7 years supply chain experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide manufacturing leadership to deliver a world-class operation.
  • Manage 6-8 direct reports and provide direction and development for ~140 team members within operations.
  • Set the strategy for the operating department and manage Operations Supervisors and the Platform Project Leader.
  • Collaborate with System Engineers, Quality Engineers, Maintenance Supervisors, and Maintenance Planners to deliver platform results.
  • Drive sustainable performance improvement through people and process.
  • Set and execute the operational plan and be responsible for Run and Improve results.
  • Lead Food and Human Safety through Safety 2.0 leadership principles and standards.
  • Cultivate Human Safety Culture and Food Safety Culture.
  • Develop and implement platform strategies to maximize team effectiveness.
  • Provide clear individual priorities and team goals.
  • Cultivate a positive and supportive team environment.
  • Demonstrate commitment to ongoing development and skill building of the platform team.
  • Accountable for the results and overall process health of Platform DSU.
  • Partner with the Operations Manager for effective communication with Supply Chain Managers.
  • Accountable for the execution, results, and process health of Platform DDS.
  • Utilize, teach, and coach standardization methods across equipment and processes.
  • Build strong working knowledge to collect, analyze, and interpret manufacturing data.
