About The Position

The Associate Nurse Manager has responsibilities for a functional area of patient services and must collaborate with others to achieve strategic objectives and unit-based goals. Assists in communication of division and unit vision and goals, develops a team of highly skilled staff, ensures cost effective and efficient use of resources for optimum outcomes, administers orientation and continuing education activities, and promotes excellence in clinical practice through interpretation of standards of care and provision of guidance and educational interventions. Practice is consistent with applicable licensing board, regulatory standards, and institutional policies and procedures. The Associate Nurse Manager, under the direction of the Nurse Manager, directs and oversees the functions of the patient care team.

Requirements

• Graduation from accredited school of nursing.
• BS in Nursing required.
• Valid Ohio Registered Nurse License.
• Current CPR certification.
• Minimum one year supervisory/leadership experience.
• Five years clinical experience with three years in area of specialty.
• Level III NICU experience required.

Nice To Haves

• MS in Nursing preferred.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Current certification in specialty preferred.
