Eastdil Secured is seeking an Associate to join our Santa Monica office. This role will focus primarily on multifamily transactions. Responsibilities will include overseeing the underwriting process, creation and execution of marketing collateral, process execution, and providing hands-on training and oversight of a team of Analysts.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in commercial real estate, advisory, or a combination of both
Advanced Excel financial modeling skills and strong attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to conceptualize real estate investment opportunities within the framework of relevant microeconomic and macroeconomic factors
Demonstrated ability to consistently produce high-quality work under tight time frames
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities to conclusion within agreed upon deadlines.
Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.
Willingness to perform in a demanding, highly focused, collaborative, and team environment
Eastdil Secured requires each non-administrative exempt staff member to be licensed as appropriate in the respective region

Responsibilities

Function as an integral part of deal team and have ability to effectively interface with senior management and clients
Management of comprehensive real estate valuation and transaction structure analysis with support from team of Analysts
Financial underwriting, due diligence review and transaction execution
Prepare presentations and other materials for clients, including pitch, proposal, and marketing collateral
Facilitate client meetings and entertainment events
Mentor and instruct Analysts and other team members on tools and methods for underwriting, creation of marketing collateral, and otherwise executing their responsibilities
