About The Position

The Boeing Company is seeking an Associate Multidiscipline Engineer to join the team and support the Boeing Company Flight Operations Services FCOM/QRH team in Seal Beach, CA. Primary Responsibilities: Evaluates detailed engineering information, drawings and supplier data, to integrate into engineering and operational data packages for flight crews Supports change management for aircraft systems impacting flight crew data Maintains flight crew procedures in association with the technical pilot team Designs and develops flight operations data and documents Performs engineering research for customer specific requirements and resolution of customer problems Performs engineering research in support of customer specific requirements, problems and concerns Evaluates customer digital data and publishing system’s needs including XML formats Creates tools and processes to gain efficiencies related to FCOM and QRH production Work Authorization: This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Seal Beach, California location.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
  • 1+ years of experience in support of aerospace products, including commercial or military airplane flight operations
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, Power Point, Excel, and Word

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ years of experience working around live aircraft and flight operations
  • 1+ years' experience demonstrating creative, critical thinking and troubleshooting skills
  • 1+ years' experience in leading technical projects and managing technical data content and configuration
  • Experience with technical writing and editing
  • Flight hours for a pilot’s license and/or experience working in the flight deck
  • Experience working in a team environment
  • Knowledge/Experience with project management and project management tools
  • Customer support experience is a plus
  • Team Leadership (Formal/Informal) experience
