About The Position

The Boeing Company has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer at our Jacksonville, FL facility with our F/A-18 support team. This position involves various responsibilities including build plan development and maintenance, work instruction authoring, and shop support. The role requires reading and interpreting engineering data and providing structures support.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
• Associate: 2+ years of Production Engineering experience
• Mid-Level: 5+ years of Production Engineering experience

Nice To Haves

• Active Secret Clearance
• 1+ years' experience in Modification Repair Overhaul (MRO)

Responsibilities

• Build Plan development and maintenance
• Work instruction authoring
• Shop support
• Reading and interpreting Engineering data
• Structures support
• Assists in the development and implementation of production and tooling methodologies
• Participates as a member of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) in the integration of technical solutions
• Works with others to develop, identify and implement conceptual designs and maintenance of the program architecture for build
• Assists in implementing manufacturing plans
• Resolves technical problems and assists in the implementation of new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies and concepts
• Implements Lean principles and technologies
• Interfaces with professional associations, suppliers, IPTs and internal customers to develop products, skills, knowledge and experience
• Develops and implements production and tooling methodologies
• Conducts producibility and variation analyses to ensure that manufacturing process capability matches requirements
• Analyzes design/build concepts to evaluate producible design/build definitions
• Coordinates and implements new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies and concepts
• Validates and ensures production readiness of solutions to complex problems
