Requirements

• 2 years' experience in merchandising, buying, financial planning, operations, or related area.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• Negotiating with third-party suppliers.
• Experience in pricing, site merchandising, planning or inventory, or related area.
• Bachelor's degree in Business or Merchandising.

Responsibilities

• Establish category strategy and manage budgets to drive profitable growth.
• Build partnerships with suppliers, vendors, business partners, and other Associate Merchants.
• Make decisions about replenishment, supply chain, manufacturers, store operations, planning, assortment, layouts, budgets, modular, and pricing.
• Work with the Product Development and Sourcing team to create new products for Private Brands.
• Know customers and suppliers better than anyone and think about future business opportunities.
