The RealReal is seeking a business-minded, highly analytical Associate Merchandise Manager to support the Merchandise Manager in the execution of strategies to drive omni-channel category performance. We’re looking for a self-starter who will take an entrepreneurial approach to category management, brainstorming new and creative ways to drive category KPIs across both supply & demand. What You Get To Do Everyday Business Analysis: support weekly & monthly reporting of omni channel metrics; develop recommendations and execute to deliver on financial plans Support the daily needs and priorities to drive the category forward Lead business strategy, assortment curation & allocation for retail stores; coordination with retail teams on trainings & visual merchandising Lead weekly promotional strategy & execute on site, support curation of site content Quality checks site-wide for product pricing, photo standards and general copy descriptions Creation of educational content and product knowledge training across sales, retail & merch operations Research and explore new trends in the industry (both primary & secondary) to help develop innovative strategies Proactively build and maintain strong cross-functional partnerships; lead and manage ad hoc initiatives across Sales, Operations, Retail, and Digital teams to drive alignment and business results What You Bring To The Role Minimum Requirements: 5+ years experience at a luxury fashion retailer or ecommerce site Extensive knowledge of contemporary & luxury designers, current fashion trends and the competitive landscape in the Fine Jewelry Category Team player with a willingness to solve problems as they arise Demonstrate a point of view about product assortment, with a strong sense of ownership over his/her work Robust verbal & presentation skills; strong attention to detail Strong Excel & retail math skills, MS Office, Google G Suite Compensation, Benefits, + Perks Employee Stock Purchase Plan 401K with Company Match Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance Paid Parental Leave 9 Paid Company Holidays Flexible Time Off (With Manager Approval) Find out more about our Benefits here. The expected salary range for this role is $85,000.00-$95,000.00. To determine starting pay we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate’s skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity. Additionally, salary is just one component of TRR’s total rewards package. Depending on role, employees may also be eligible for a bonus program, incentive pay and benefits.
