The Associate Member Services Representative (MSR) is an entry-level position at SECU, designed to equip team members with foundational knowledge of the credit union's branch operations. In this role, Associate MSRs are responsible for performing routine branch duties and adhering to established standard branch procedures. A core function is to deliver exemplary member service by addressing member inquiries both over the telephone and in person. This includes a range of tasks such as managing cash boxes, facilitating account origination, and performing necessary account maintenance. The position requires strict compliance with all Credit Union policies and regulatory requirements, ensuring the confidentiality of member information, and accessing accounts solely for business purposes. Adherence to all security and control procedures is mandatory. The role also involves continuous learning, including participation in additional training and continuing education to enhance knowledge of branch operations, and beginning to learn to open basic accounts under supervision, as well as gaining basic knowledge of Financial Advisory and Real Estate products and services offered by SECU to provide referrals.
