About The Position

Paragon 28, established in 2010, is a rapidly growing company in the orthopedic sector, specifically focusing on foot and ankle solutions. The Associate Medical Sales Representative plays a crucial role in training, sales, and support services for Paragon 28 products within their designated territory. This position requires building and maintaining customer relationships, educating healthcare professionals on product usage, and ensuring timely product delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Required.
  • Current relationships in the marketplace preferred.
  • Sales device experience preferred.
  • Strong Sales and Communication Skills.
  • Strong Knowledge and/or Ability to Learn and Understand Orthopedic Concepts.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance policy.
  • Willing and capable of carrying weights up to 50 pounds, independently.
  • Ability to wear a 7-9 pounds of protective lead apron for extended periods of time in the operating room.
  • Sitting, standing and/or walking for up to eight plus hours per day.
  • Frequent bending/stooping, squatting and balance.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

  • Builds and maintains customer relationships while covering orthopedic procedures with clinical proficiency and business acumen.
  • Educates and informs sales representatives, doctors, nurses, and appropriate staff personnel on the proper use and maintenance of P28 products.
  • Facilitates on-time delivery of products to customers.
  • Responsible for territory case coverage and managing a sample inventory of products.
  • Solves product problems for customers in an expeditious fashion.
  • Coordinates customer training.
  • Aggressively solicits orders from present and prospective customers for the assigned products.
  • Strictly adheres to all laws and Paragon 28 policies regarding interaction with Health Care Professionals, product handling, complaints, expense reporting, sales activities, and training.
  • Keeps respective Regional Sales Manager informed of territory progress on a regular basis.
  • Directs product evaluations in OR and office settings.
  • Responsible for successful completion of sales training.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
