About The Position

Atlantic Health is Seeking an Associate Medical Director of Hospital Medicine at Newton Medical Center Atlantic Health, one of New Jersey's largest non-profit healthcare networks, is seeking an Associate Medical Director to join the Hospital Medicine group at Newton Medical Center and contribute to the expansion of our rapidly growing division. The ideal candidate for this role will possess a combination of demonstrated leadership abilities and extensive clinical experience in hospital medicine. The primary responsibilities of the Associate Medical Director encompass working collaboratively with the Hospitalist Medicine Medical Director, overseeing all aspects of the group's operational and clinical functions. With a keen focus on quality, the Associate Medical Director will be actively involved in ensuring comprehensive and accurate clinical documentation within the Hospital Medicine group. Beyond administrative duties, the Associate Medical Director will play a crucial role in supporting census assignments, assisting group physicians in challenging clinical situations, and contributing to conflict resolutions. Requirements

  • Must be BE/BC by the American Board of Internal Medicine
  • Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey
  • Must have at least five years of experience in hospital medicine – preferably in the academic medical center
  • Exceptional communication and people skills
