About The Position

This is a combined posting for an Associate Medical Assistant/MA-C and Medical Assistant/MA-C. The requirements of each role are listed below under each associated title. Schedule: Full Time, Day Shift Location: Swedish Primary Care – Issaquah in Issaquah, Washington. Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands-on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants, or
  • Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program, or
  • Completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces, or
  • Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant that includes obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration.
  • Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
  • Medical assisting experience in a clinic setting (0-6 months).

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience providing a high level of customer service in a fast-paced environment (6 months).
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting working with an Electronic Health record (EHR) (6 months).

Responsibilities

  • Assist in providing basic patient care to assigned patients under the delegation of a licensed practitioner.
  • Perform both administrative and clinical duties as directed.
  • Meet basic patient care needs in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations.
