About The Position

The Associate, Media Finance supports financial management and reporting for assigned media accounts. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional who enjoys working with numbers, thrives in organized environments, and wants hands-on exposure to client-facing financial operations. You’ll partner closely with Budget Managers, Media Planners, and Client teams to ensure accurate tracking, reconciliation, and reporting of media investments.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree
Internship or coursework experience in finance or related field
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

Work with Budget Managers / Planners to adjust and reconcile budget numbers throughout the month / year
Attend weekly status meetings to stay informed of upcoming changes or additions to the budgets
Handle intermittent budget related requests from Budget Managers / Planning / Clients
Review Mediaocean (DDS) commits against Planners MPF to ensure accuracy
Create yearly budget level documents to send to clients on a monthly basis
Prepare monthly financial reporting package to be sent to client
Monitor EA’s and Invoices through client systems and work with Budget Managers / Planning / Clients for invoice rejections
Obtain signatures and documents as needed for audit compliance
Track PO balances for each EA
Build trusting, collaborative relationships with clients and internal teams
Ensure collaboration among all groups; fosters great teamwork
Keeps abreast of all billing and reporting issues and escalate discrepancies to managers
Inquisitive and solution-oriented when barriers present
Express oneself clear and concise both written and verbally
Organize ideas and information logically and sequentially
