About The Position

SUMMARY: The Materials Associate is responsible for ensuring that adequate levels of supplies and meat are driven into the facility to ensure that the plant can run effectively. Multi-tasking prioritization effective and accurate completion of tasks are required. RESPONSIBILITIES: Daily Monitoring of Materials Requirements PO s- Submission and Updates Buyer Messages Management of Daily Deliveries Supplies and Meat Reconciliation of materials receiving issues Generating Daily Delivery Schedule Outputs Fulfilling the Claim Process for Supplies or Meats Filing Claims Ensuring Timely receipt and follow through of credit process Timely Disposition of QA Hold Products QA Hold Slow Moving Obsolete Submission and Follow through of Claims Effective Communication with Vendors Forecasts Overages Shortages Work Cross-Functionally with Projects Invoice Management E-Buy Filing Use Partner Links for inventory management ie. Bemis PCA Upkeep of Product Spec Books

Requirements

  • Education: 2 Year Degree Preferred or equivalent experience in Materials or Logistics
  • Experience: Working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of management good comprehension skills and the ability to work in a fast multi-tasking environment.
  • All other tasks as requested that align with the Tyson 5C Culture and ensure SOX compliance.
  • Sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • Must reside in the United States.
