About The Position

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) to join our clinical team. The AMFT will provide therapeutic services to clients experiencing a wide range of mental health issues, relationship challenges, and life transitions. This role involves working under supervision to gain the experience required for licensure.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling Psychology, or a related field.
  • Active California AMFT registration with the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS).
  • Clinical experience in providing therapy (may include practicum/internship).
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR).
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills.
  • Experience working with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and underserved communities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual, couple, and family therapy to clients under clinical supervision.
  • Conduct intake assessments and develop treatment plans based on client needs.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Attend regular supervision sessions and participate in team meetings.
  • Collaborate with other mental health professionals, case managers, and medical providers as needed.
  • Uphold ethical standards as defined by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) and professional organizations.
  • Engage in continuing education and professional development.
