About The Position

At TD, Corporate Sponsorships plays a critical role in how we connect with communities, customers, and colleagues across our U.S. footprint. From sports and entertainment to community partnerships, our sponsorships are designed to build brand love, foster local relevance, and create authentic moments that matter. The U.S. Corporate Sponsorship team is a high-performing, fast-paced group that oversees a diverse and dynamic portfolio of partnerships across key U.S. markets. We work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders as well as with external agencies and partner organizations to activate and optimize our sponsorship investments. We're looking for an organized, tech-savvy, and execution-focused marketing professional to join our team as an Associate Sponsorship Manager. In this role, you'll support the day-to-day execution of our sponsorships, working closely with Sponsorship Marketing Managers to bring our partnerships to life. You'll be responsible for managing partner deliverables, integrating with our digital tools, supporting hospitality, and ticketing, and tracking performance across assets and activations. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, loves a good checklist, and has a passion for turning plans into action.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree or relevant professional certifications, designations, or equivalent required
  • 5+ years relevant experience
  • Proficient knowledge of multiple marketing disciplines, strategy development, consulting principles
  • Proficient knowledge of customer and brand research techniques
  • Knowledge of current and emerging competitor and market trends
  • Knowledge of risk management environment, standards and regulations
  • Ability to manage a budget and work within the constraints of that budget
  • Ability to lead, plan, implement and evaluate program/project activities
  • Skill in mentoring, coaching
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships
  • Skill in using analytical software tools, data analysis methods and reporting techniques
  • Skill in using computer applications including MS Office
  • Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Manages marketing projects/programs/initiatives of low to moderate scope and complexity
  • Develops project briefs with marketing planners, prepares project plans and resources projects appropriately
  • Integrates the broader organizational context into advice and solutions within own area
  • Applies best practices to implement process, product or service improvements
  • Acts as a subject matter expert within their own area of specialty or a resource for others
  • Leads projects of moderately to complex risk and resource requirements
  • Contributes to setting standards within area of expertise
  • Solves complex problems requiring analysis of multiple variables
  • Builds stakeholder alignment in leading projects and activities
  • Works independently as the senior technical lead and guides others within area of expertise
  • Identifies and leads problem resolution for complex issues at all levels
  • Designs, develops and executes marketing solutions to address marketing/business needs/plans/strategies
  • Manages assigned projects from scoping/briefing to launch/fulfillment
  • Participates in project scoping and preplanning sessions
  • Develops creative briefs that consistently adhere to product positioning
  • Provides ongoing communication to ensure appropriate stakeholders are notified of progress or changes
  • Captures and shares lessons learned from projects/campaigns/initiatives
  • Delivers strong marketing communications on strategy, on time, on budget and error free
  • Delivers actionable recommendations based on insights generated through integration of multiple sources
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of programs, processes and documentation
