About The Position

The Associate Manufacturing Supervisor/Manufacturing Supervisor position offers first and second shift openings. The role is centered around embodying SEL Values and leadership competencies to foster a culture of growth, empathy, and accountability among employees. The supervisor will drive a culture of urgency, enforce individual accountability, and exhibit agility in rapidly evolving situations. The position requires fostering cross-functional collaboration, developing a strong understanding of upstream and downstream processes, and overseeing work process training to improve operational performance. The supervisor will set clear performance expectations, address personnel issues, enforce control over work instructions, apply root cause analysis for quality issues, and promote a culture of safety. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to model SEL Values.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and respectfully.
  • Ability to prioritize, organize, and delegate work.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and product flow.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and business systems.
  • Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.
  • Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.
  • Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
  • Background check results satisfactory to SEL.
  • Negative drug test result(s).

Nice To Haves

  • College degree (BS or BA).
  • Supervisory experience or training.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and business systems.
