About The Position

The Associate, Manufacturing Engineering position at L3Harris involves supporting production and integration processes at the Customer Integration Center (CIC). The role focuses on collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the successful manufacturing of Infrastructure/Terminal products, providing hands-on experience and the opportunity to develop a diverse skill set.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering (0 to 1 years of experience).

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Six Sigma Green Belt or exposure to Lean Philosophy.
  • Experience with Mechanical Assembly, Drafting & Modeling, including Torque Drivers, Jig & Fixture Design, AutoCAD, and Solidworks.
  • Familiarity with Electrical Standards such as IPC-610 or 620.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to Production operations in resolving issues related to product assembly, configuration, programming, testing, and staging.
  • Support change management processes by taking appropriate action on Engineering Change Orders, Material Orders, and Routing assignments.
  • Participate or contribute to continual improvement projects that enhance efficiency, cost savings, and customer satisfaction while supporting business goals.
  • Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders such as Quality, Engineering Design & Development, Supply Chain Management, and System Engineering to resolve technical issues.
  • Support Programs with customer-specific asset management requirements, including information collection and visual identification.
  • Work with minimal supervision and lead problem-solving efforts using appropriate tools and involving stakeholders as necessary.
  • Understand and troubleshoot changing system configurations based on RF experience.
  • Assist Management in non-engineering tasks that support business goals and objectives for the fiscal year.
  • Support New Product Introduction activities at the Customer Integration Center.
