The position will remain open until filled. Onsite in Fort Collins, CO General Duties (includes but not limited to): Oversee daily maintenance activities, including scheduled inspections, repairs, and troubleshooting of injection molding machines, ancillary equipment, and support systems . Follows up on daily production issues, leads the team to increase yield, improving product quality and manufacturing cost reductions Coordinate with Production team to address equipment downtime, t roubleshoot and p erform work order tasks indep endentl y . Continuously improve preventative maintenance program . Assist with m aintain ing ISO 13485 compliance for equipment maintenance logs, equipment qualification, and risk management documentation. Assist with training programs for equipment operators to promote adherence to safety and quality standards. Assist with inventory of maintenance supplies. Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements, equipment upgrades, and operational efficiency. Collaborate with cross -functional teams to implement best practices, standardize maintenance procedures, and optimize equipment reliability and performance. Actively works towards goals established with supervisor. Physical Requirements: Is expected to sit, walk, or stand for 8 hours per day. Must be able to communicate verbally, be able to hear, and have clear and corrected vision for tasks that involve reading, writing, and working with small details . Have physical agility for tasks that involve bending, kneeling, or reaching. Have precise hand-eye coordination for tasks that involve handling small objects, tools, or machinery. Must be able to lift and/or move 30-80 lbs. Comfortable working in environments with varying temperatures, noise levels, and exposure to industrial materials. Ca pability to push/pull pallets weighing 1,500-2,300 lbs.

Requirements

  • Bachelors’ degree in Industrial Engineering , Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Science, or equivalent
  • Ability to work independently on troubleshoot ing and repair s of molding equipment
  • Knowledge of mechanical , electrical, pn eumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Experience with preventative and predictive maintenance
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements and standards governing equipment maintenance and safety in medical device manufacturing, including FDA regulations and ISO 13485 quality management systems.
  • Ability to demonstrated and implement safety protocols, equipment inspections, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and willingness to maintain healthy working relationships with the ability to motivate teams.
  • Ability to identify and promote improvement opportunities, drive innovation, and deliver sustainable growth.
  • Demonstrate strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in English.
  • Strong time management skills and can work with multiple deadlines and commitments with little to no supervision.
  • Detail oriented and organizational skills.
  • Must be able to read and interpret technical drawings and formulas.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of one year experience working with injection molding equipment is preferred.
  • Experience with CMMS MaintainX preferred
  • Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP)
  • Certified Maintenance Manager (CMM)
