Otto Aerospace is seeking an Associate Manufacturing Engineer to support the laminar aerodynamic surfaces and robotics for Flight Test Vehicle (FTV) builds of the Phantom 3000. The Associate Manufacturing Engineer will also help the team prepare for low-rate initial production (LRIP) and full rate production (FRP) at the Final Assembly Integration and Test (FAIT) Facility, in Jacksonville, Florida. The Associate Manufacturing Engineer role will contribute to the successful completion of major projects that support strategic priorities and technical objectives for the Phantom 3000 finish system. This role will work at the intersection of aerodynamics, precision manufacturing, and automation to ensure flight-critical surfaces meet stringent performance, quality, and repeatability requirements. Working under general direction, the individual possesses basic knowledge in manufacturing engineering and assembly technical areas and can learn to develop imaginative manufacturing processes or tooling designs. The individual will support Manufacturing Engineering technical POCs on projects, programs and/or cross functional teams.
