The Associate Manager, Production is responsible for driving the achievement of key business objectives within a production plant, including Safety, Quality, Environmental Compliance, Cost Efficiency, Customer Service, Continuous Improvement, Team Engagement, and Budget Management. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, this role provides strategic leadership and operational oversight to ensure the plant meets performance targets while fostering a culture aligned with the company's values and standards.

  • Foster a safe, incident-free work environment through proactive leadership and engagement.
  • Set and track goals to continuously improve Safety, Quality, and Productivity performance.
  • Coach and develop team members to build capabilities and drive a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Lead performance management processes, including evaluations, feedback, and development planning.
  • Prioritize and manage production operations to meet departmental and site objectives with minimal oversight.
  • Contribute to cross-functional projects and initiatives beyond core responsibilities.
  • Monitor and act on key operational metrics (PPIs and KPIs) to ensure consistent performance.
  • Implement and lead Lean and Continuous Improvement tools and events (e.g., 5S, Standard Work, Kaizens) to eliminate waste and drive efficiency.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience, including 2 years of people management or experience in leading teams
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Advanced or technical degree preferred
  • Evidence of Change Leadership
  • Value Stream Mapping experience
  • Experience in leading the implementation and utilization of Lean practices and tools strong preferred (Kaizen, PDCA, CL, 5S, APTs)
