This role of Associate Manager Pharmacy Technician will be located at Banner Health Corporate in Chandler. This position is responsible for managing 16 technicians – 13 Pharmacy Technicians, 2 Senior Pharmacy Technicians and 1 Lead Pharmacy Technician. It is a call center, so you will be expected to handle escalated customer complaints, issues and perform monthly call audits. You will also need to evaluate metrics on a monthly basis both individually in scheduled one-on-ones and for the team as a whole. You are expected to plan and communicate the task board assignments for the team in coordination with the Lead Technician and adjust it accordingly. Additionally, you will handle any audits requested from various insurance companies. Managerial experience of mid-sized teams is preferred. The schedule for this role will be Monday - Friday with slight flexibility, 8:00AM – 4:30PM as the earliest, or you can work as late as 9:00AM – 5:30PM. POSITION SUMMARY This position is responsible for leading and overseeing the technical and supportive personnel of the Department of Pharmacy Services. Ensures the functions of the technical and supportive personnel are consistent with policy and procedures. Assist in planning, directing, monitoring and evaluating the provision of distributive pharmacy services to all patient care areas. Engages in process improvement and staff development.
