We champion the voice of the member—amplifying insights, advocating for change, and creating meaningful touch-points that make every interaction feel human. In this deeply cross-functional role, we're the connective tissue that helps our members feel heard, seen, and valued. We’re looking for a highly motivated Associate Manager of Community & Member Engagement to help us bring Member Love to life across social and community channels. You’ll be on the front lines with our members—engaging them on Instagram, TikTok, and Reddit, helping them feel supported, celebrated, and closer to love. You’ll also play a critical role in our member listening and outreach programs, helping amplify the voice of the member, and create surprise-and-delight moments. This role is perfect for someone who’s proactive, creative, solution-oriented, and energized by building community and connection. You’ll sit in a deeply cross-functional role and serve as an extension of our brand campaigns by ensuring our members’ voices are at the center of the story.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in community management, social media engagement, customer experience, or related roles.
  • Passionate about creating meaningful connections with people online—especially on Instagram, TikTok, and Reddit.
  • Skilled at writing in a warm, authentic, brand-consistent voice.
  • Familiar with social media management tools (e.g., Dash Hudson, Sprout, Sprinklr, or similar).
  • A creative thinker who’s always coming up with fresh ways to surprise, delight, and celebrate community members.
  • Highly motivated, solution-oriented, and ready to roll up your sleeves.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally and sharing insights with different teams.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily member engagement on Instagram, TikTok, and Reddit.
  • Respond to member stories and posts in ways that feel warm, authentic, and consistent with Bumble’s voice.
  • Surface moments for Surprise & Delight that show members they’re truly seen.
  • Help execute our gifting program, from identifying moments to coordinating logistics.
  • Track, log, and measure impact of outreach efforts, capturing reactions, shares, and stories.
  • Help coordinate programming, outreach, and follow-ups to our members.
  • Support documentation of key insights with cross-functional teams to inform roadmaps and campaigns.
  • Identify stories, posts, and feedback worth amplifying across Bumble’s owned and earned channels.
  • Partner with Marketing to ensure authentic member stories fuel campaigns, PR, and social.
  • Track emerging member conversations, themes, and cultural trends across platforms.
  • Provide weekly insight snapshots that keep our teams close to the voice of the member.
  • Collaborate with Product, CX, and Marketing partners to make sure member engagement efforts complement—not duplicate—their work.
  • Serve as a bridge between our members and our teams, helping everyone feel closer to the community we serve.
