About the position

The Associate Brand Manager Shout Portfolio role leads the business for the total Shout brand. As the business owner, you will be accountable for driving financial results, managing portfolio strategy, launching new products and leading large cross-functional teams. The position will report into the Sr. Director of Home Cleaning and will have brand counterparts in Innovation and Equity with a high growth ambition behind an aggressive innovation pipeline and a new marketing platform. The role is a great opportunity to help shape the future vision for the brand, to become a stain megabrand!

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive portfolio strategies to drive growth and market share.
  • Manage assortment and determine cadence of innovations, renovations and exits.
  • Commercialize new products and prepare selling materials.
  • Lead a cross-functional team supporting the business through RD&E, CIBA, Finance, Supply Chain, Omni, Demand Planning and Equity.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the P&L and levers to meet financial objectives.
  • Analyze monthly Nielsen consumption data to make in-time recommendations to the Shout sales forecast, and identify opportunities and risks.
  • Review inputs within New Products launches, Pricing, Distribution, Marketing Innovation and Competition to inform business performance and predict market share.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5+ years of relevant business experience OR advanced degree and a minimum of 3+ years of relevant business experience or military experience may be considered in lieu of degree requirement.
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

  • Proven project leadership capability and passion to grow within brand management roles.
  • Analytic capabilities (data mining, insight generation, communicating findings and recommendations verbally and visually).
  • Understanding of the fundamentals around managing the business P&L.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships and lead a cross-functional team.
  • Works with a sense of urgency and delivers winning results individually and through others.
