About the position

Orveon is looking for a highly creative, strategic and agile individual to lead our social media content & strategy for bareMinerals - the original clean beauty brand. The Manager of Global Content and Social Strategy is an essential role for our team, helping to define the exciting next chapter of bareMinerals for new audiences across key social platforms. This position will work collaboratively with the Executive Director of Consumer Engagement, agency partners, and internal teams to deliver engaging, innovative, and relevant social campaigns, ensuring content is distributed on the right channels at the right time. This individual will also be responsible for managing our community management agency with the goal of fostering a dynamic social community and broadening our reach. They will support the brand team as an expert on social engagement, community, and analytics, with a strong ability to leverage data insights to provide actionable strategic recommendations. The ideal candidate is someone with their finger on the pulse of social trends who can balance the creative and analytical aspects of social media to deliver best-in-class digital storytelling that will set bareMinerals apart.

Responsibilities

  • Own the Global organic social content calendars, ensuring alignment with brand marketing calendar, influencer activations, product priorities, and channel-specific needs.
  • Concept and execute agile, social-first content to increase brand relevancy and ownable storytelling.
  • Drive the content and engagement strategies for all owned channels, in collaboration with the Executive Director.
  • Manage social content briefings to drive creativity and innovation, leveraging brand performance, consumer insights, and competitive activity.
  • Collaborate with Manager of Influencer and PR to maximize impact & integration of paid & earned influencer partnerships across owned channels.
  • Collaborate with partners in media and e-commerce to leverage social content across consumer touchpoints for holistic storytelling.
  • Monitor and analyze social data, including tracking of key metrics such as followers, engagement, and conversation.
  • Continually optimize social activity and content, making real-time recommendations to help drive KPIs and program goals.
  • Understand the social media universe and stay current with social media trends, emerging platforms, and resources.
  • Support prep for social content shoots as needed, including the review of master shot lists against content calendars and organizing product shipments.
  • Manage community management agency.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in social media, content creation, and analytics.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • A keen eye for social creative and experience with agile content creation tools, i.e. Canva, CapCut, TikTok, etc.
  • Interest or background in beauty/fashion and an understanding of beauty consumer trends, behavior and competitive brands.
  • A love of social media with an ability to link analytics and creativity to deliver on business goal.
  • Proactive, collaborative, and enthusiastic working style - able to manage up and across several teams.
  • A creative problem solver who can thrive in fast-paced environment, prioritize and oversee multiple projects at once with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills - a self-described 'people-person,' comfortable speaking with all levels of an organization.
