About the position

The Associate Manager, Digital Marketing at Newell Brands will support the development and execution of paid marketing strategies specifically for the Outdoor and Baby segments. This role involves budget management, performance tracking, data analysis, and social media execution to enhance campaign effectiveness and drive business results. The ideal candidate will be proactive, data-driven, and a critical thinker, continuously seeking innovative advertising capabilities to enhance engagement and drive incremental ROI throughout the customer lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Paid Media Manager in developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies across social, search, CTV, and programmatic platforms.
  • Oversee the backend setup of campaigns, collaborating with Feedonomics partners to ensure accurate product and promotional data configuration.
  • Assist with A&P budget management and pacing, ensuring accuracy and identifying opportunities to maximize campaign performance.
  • Regularly update and maintain performance reports, tracking KPI performance for national and Direct-To-Consumer campaigns.
  • Perform data analysis to optimize and scale national media and DTC campaigns, identifying trends and insights for improvement.
  • Provide data-driven insights and results to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with overall marketing and business objectives.
  • Ideate and conduct tests to identify high-performing audiences, creative, promotions, and messaging across different seasons and product categories.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and developments in CTV, Paid Search, and Paid Social, including platform changes and new features.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of social media, including content planning, creation, and publishing.
  • Contribute to the evolution of organizational processes, reporting templates, data analysis, and media planning.
  • Support the day-to-day execution of the brand's social strategy, including managing brand-owned social channels.

Requirements

  • BS/BA or University degree in a related field
  • 2-3+ years of digital marketing and/or Ecommerce work experience
  • Strong data and analytical background
  • Experience in Paid and Organic social, SEM, CTV, Programmatic Display management
  • Ability to operate independently and bring ideas and solutions to issues raised
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively across multiple lines of business
  • Detail-oriented and operationally focused to drive efficiency
  • Demonstrated maturity, problem solving skills, and constructive approach to challenges
  • Takes initiative & brings impeccable follow-up skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives and assignments simultaneously
