About The Position

The Strategy & Operations Dasher & Logistics team is responsible for supporting DoorDash's growth through ensuring fast and on time deliveries and the ability to grow and maintain a fleet of Dashers. Our team is working on a new bet, Local Commerce Service Partner (LCSP) program, to ensure customers experience exceptional delivery experiences as DoorDash continues to grow. The LCSP program enables DoorDash to partner with local entrepreneurs, who operate their own businesses to deliver orders and perform tasks through the DoorDash platform. An LCSP will offer full-time and part-time employment opportunities to the LCSP's fleet of Delivery Associates.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in consulting, strategy, tech, analytics, or business operations. High-growth or early-stage startup experience is a plus.
  • Expert at building models in Excel or Google Sheets. Knowledge of SQL is preferred but not required.
  • Data-driven decision maker. Comfortable executing A/B tests from start to finish to understand how initiatives impact business outcomes.
  • Curiosity and creativity in approaching challenges, thriving in ambiguity, and questioning the status quo.
  • Ability to share data insights and business recommendations with various stakeholders across the business.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field; MBA preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze - Build models to evaluate the costs and benefits of various LCSP initiatives and experiments.
  • Strategize - Define recommendations that improve daily operations of LCSP program, leveraging a deep understanding of LCSP owners, Delivery Associates, and DoorDash business needs.
  • Collaborate - Influence and engage across the company - partner cross-functionally with our Operations, Analytics, Merchant, Product, Engineering, and Insurance teams.
  • Experiment - Use data-driven decision making and sound business judgement to run tests to determine the best way to effectively grow the LCSP program.
