The Billing Operations & Strategy team manages the complete billing lifecycle, from accurate invoice generation to effective collections, and drives strategic initiatives to optimize our billing processes for scale and accuracy. As the L5 Manager, you will lead a team of full time employees and contractors, playing a critical role in achieving financial objectives and spearheading transformative changes to our billing program.

Requirements

6+ years of experience in billing operations, finance operations, revenue operations, or a related domain.
2+ years of people leadership experience, including managing full-time employees and/or outsourced teams within an operations, finance, billing or related domain.
Proven experience owning end-to-end billing processes in a scaled, high-volume environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Operations, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Understanding of billing processes and experience working with CRM and financial systems.
Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement initiatives, implement automation, and lead transformational projects that result in increased efficiency and reduced operational costs.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with the cryptocurrency or financial services industry.
Experience working with accounting teams and a foundational understanding of accounting principles relevant to billing and collections.

Responsibilities

Oversee the end-to-end billing operations for Coinbase Prime products, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and effective collections.
Drive strategic initiatives and transformative projects to scale the billing program, focusing on increasing efficiency, reducing costs, and minimizing risk.
Partner cross-functionally with stakeholder teams to define and implement process and system enhancements, advocating for solutions that improve the billing experience and scale to align with business objectives.
