About The Position

Church & Dwight is seeking an Associate Manager, Artwork to join our Packaging Graphics team, reporting to the Senior Manager, Packaging Design. In this role, you will partner closely with Marketing and cross‑functional teams to support packaging design initiatives across our portfolio. You will contribute to the development and execution of artwork from early concept through final production, ensuring designs align with overall design intent, brand standards and project requirements. You will also serve as a key advocate for the Artwork Development Process—educating new and existing employees, guiding partners through the artwork lifecycle, and collaborating with teams to remove barriers and streamline routing to improve overall workflow efficiency.

  • Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Artwork project management experience required
  • Experience in packaging graphics design, adaptive design, and production.
  • Working knowledge of packaging and commercial printing processes (flexo, offset, gravure, silkscreen, etc.) as well as prepress workflows and limitations
  • Understanding of packaging substrates and their associated constraints
  • Familiarity with automated artwork routing tools is preferred
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver within tight deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficient in Adobe Acrobat Pro

Responsibilities

  • Process, addressing questions and providing guidance to cross‑functional teams.
  • Partner closely with Marketing and cross‑functional stakeholders to remove obstacles, ensuring artwork is prioritized and progresses according to business needs and deadlines.
  • Monitor project workflows, identifying and documenting quality issues that may affect timelines, and drive improvements to enhance the overall artwork process.
  • Review packaging Epson proofs to validate design intent, color accuracy, and layout prior to approval.
  • Evaluate and approve packaging color drawdowns, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to refine and revise as needed.
  • Must demonstrate strong creative review skills and a solid understanding of print production processes to effectively evaluate artwork and resolve issues.
  • Ensure design consistency across multiple product formats and sizes by applying strong adaptive design sensibility and confirming alignment with established brand packaging guidelines.
  • Coordinate and facilitate necessary internal or external meetings to resolve artwork‑related issues impacting our brands.
  • Partner with external collaborators such as creative agencies and our exclusive pre‑press vendor to support artwork development.
