The Associate Manager, Applied AI, is a key member of the AI Innovation team, responsible for exploring, developing, and implementing advanced AI technologies and applications. You will report directly to the Manager of Applied AI, this is a generalist role focused on solving business challenges, improving operational efficiencies, and driving innovation using technical solutions powered by generative AI. This is an onsite role in Racine, WI.

  • Leverage Python and LangGraph to build agentic workflows and tools
  • Engineer AI prompts to complete tasks and deliver useful and consistent results
  • Monitor and improve AI agent performance using history and user feedback
  • Adhere to code version control system best practices
  • Collaborate with business process owners to map, test and refine solutions
  • Research and evaluate solutions to new and complex problems
  • Stay current with latest developments in generative AI and their applications
  • Champion responsible AI throughout the organization
  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience or advanced degree with 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in Python for data analysis, modeling, and visualization
  • Clear understanding of chatbot components including UI, memory, APIs, and tools
  • Advanced prompt engineering techniques and experience with major foundation models
  • Experience with collaboration tools including Git, Jira, and Teams
  • Direct experience in Generative AI application development with LangGraph
  • Experience working in Databricks (Workspace, Compute, Catalog, Apps, Vector Search, etc.)
  • Ability to develop, deploy and maintain applications in an Azure environment
  • Experience with web-based UI technologies (Streamlit, React, Next.js, JavaScript, etc.)
  • Experience using embeddings, semantic search, and RAG techniques
  • Passion for continuous learning and ability to explain complex concepts to stakeholders
