This position is Hybrid and eligible for telework up to three (3) days a week, in accordance with the Statewide Telework Policy, and will be required to report to the office as needed/required. The successful candidate must reside in California upon appointment. Under the direction of the Staff Management Auditor, the Associate Management Auditor for the Fiscal Services section of the Office of Public School Construction performs the more complex and difficult subvention work and may act as lead person over the other lower level staff members to provide support to the Office of Public School Construction (OPSC) management for purposes of performing substantial progress, close out and financial hardship reviews of school districts and county office of educations School Facility Program and California Preschool, Transitional Kindergarten and Full-day Kindergarten Facilities Grant (Program) projects to ensure they are in compliance with appropriate program laws and regulations. This position is designated under the Conflict of Interest Code. The position is responsible for making or participating in the making of governmental decisions that may potentially have a material effect on personal financial interests. The appointee is required to complete Form 700 within 30 days of appointment and once per year.
