  • Previous experience in using similar machinery
  • Basic computer skills, preferred
  • Knowledge of and adherence to Edwards Environmental Health and Safety and Quality guidelines as they relate to department clean room medical device manufacturing
  • Must be able to work with minimum supervision by following detailed operating instructions
  • Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control

Responsibilities

  • Set-up, load materials, and run a variety of manufacturing equipment to produce device components and/or sterilize finished products, including equipment set-up and/or in-process adjustments to ensure appropriate settings and parameters to achieve product design and quality specifications.
  • Perform inspections of machinery and output to ensure the processes are being executed in conformance with production specifications, and maintaining a stable and effective process
  • Review, follow and perform job functions in compliance with established work instructions and adherence with SOPs, which may include recording traceable information on device history records and/or enter information into JDE.
  • Select and utilize the associated equipment and tooling associated with assigned operation/task.
  • Ensure automated recording of parameters throughout the process for input into device history record.
  • On time arrival to work, regular attendance without excessive absenteeism, and working a full 8 hour or longer work period
  • Other incidental duties: General work area housekeeping
