About The Position

As an Associate Leave Representative, you will play a crucial role in managing employee leaves under the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and various state regulations. This position requires a deep understanding of leave management processes, including the review of medical certifications and ongoing relationship management with employees and their employer contacts. You will be expected to exercise independent judgment and critical thinking in your decision-making processes, ensuring compliance with FMLA regulations and company-specific requirements. Your responsibilities will include processing new leave requests, determining eligibility for leave, generating appropriate communications, and managing the leave throughout its duration. You will also be responsible for responding to inquiries from employees and employer contacts regarding leave status and issues. This role requires collaboration with other business areas, such as the Benefits Center and Contact Center, to ensure a seamless leave management operation. You will receive guidance and support from a Trainer/Mentor as you navigate the complexities of leave management.
