About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Lead Associate to join our team at PetSmart in Cedar Rapids, IA. Requirements

• Previous experience in a retail or grocery store setting is required.
• Strong skills in inventory management and budgeting are essential.
• Familiarity with POS systems is required; experience with wireless sales is a plus.

• Ability to perform basic retail math calculations accurately.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train staff to ensure high levels of performance and customer satisfaction.
• Manage inventory levels, including stock replenishment and organization of merchandise.
• Take point on unloading freight, including use of forklift.
• Utilize POS systems for sales transactions and inventory tracking.
• Assist in budgeting processes to optimize store performance and profitability.
• Analyze sales data using retail math to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment that enhances the shopping experience.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Collaborate with management on marketing initiatives to drive sales and enhance store visibility.
