About The Position
A nationally recognized business law firm is expanding its New York finance team and is seeking a high-performing Associate (2–6 years) with strong experience in asset-based lending and secured finance. The Work You will represent: Major financial institutions Private credit funds Direct lenders Corporate borrowers Transactions include: Asset-based lending facilities Leveraged and cash-flow financings Syndicated and club deals Acquisition financings Multi-jurisdictional secured transactions Associates are expected to take ownership of core drafting and negotiation responsibilities, manage diligence streams, and run workstreams directly with clients.
Requirements
- 2–6 years of finance experience at a reputable law firm
- Strong background in asset-based or secured lending
- Excellent drafting skills
- Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously
- Commercial mindset and client-facing confidence
