About The Position

Reporting to the Global PMO Manager, the Associate IT Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing IT projects under limited guidance from senior project managers. This role is ideal for professionals looking to grow their project management skills in a collaborative and dynamic environment while contributing to continuous improvement across ChemTreat's IT organization. This position is part of the Global IT Department, located in Glen Allen, VA, and will be on-site.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field (or 5+ years of relevant work experience)
Minimum of 3 years of IT project management experience, including managing multiple projects concurrently
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Project
Knowledge of Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid methodologies
Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, DevOps)

Nice To Haves

PMI or Agile Certification
MS D365 ERP experience

Responsibilities

Leading planning and tracking of project progress
Documenting project goals, scope, stakeholders, and success criteria
Developing and maintaining project documentation such as communication plans, risk & issue logs, and status updates
Leading project meetings, preparing meeting notes, and driving resolution of action items
Producing project status reports and communications for stakeholders
Managing project closure activities including documentation and lessons learned
Collaborating on quality assurance and training activities (e.g., user acceptance testing)
Contributing to business process improvement initiatives
