About The Position

Requirements

  • This position requires authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based immigration sponsorship now or in the future.   • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent experience (internships, coursework, certifications).
  • Must have at least 1 year hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services including resource provisioning, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure fundamentals (AZ-900 certification preferred).
  • Basic understanding of cloud concepts: IaaS, PaaS, SaaS.
  • Exposure to Windows Server administration and Active Directory (coursework or labs).
  • Interest in scripting/automation (PowerShell, Azure CLI).
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn, take direction, and work as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Internship or academic project experience with Azure or other cloud platforms.
  • Exposure to virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Basic knowledge of networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, VPN).
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 or Office 365 administration.
  • Any relevant certifications (AZ-900, MS-900, CompTIA Cloud+).
  • Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and ability to multitask.
  • HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator (AZ-104).
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automation tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in deploying, configuring, and maintaining cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure.
  • Support basic administration of Azure resources (Virtual Machines, Storage, Networking, Azure Active Directory).
  • Monitor cloud environments and respond to alerts under guidance.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to learn best practices for cloud security, automation, and cost management.
  • Contribute to routine tasks such as patching, backups, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Stay current with Azure updates and new features.
  • Assist in writing and automating deployment and management of Azure resources using Terraform modules and scripts for repeatable infrastructure deployments, following best practices in code versioning and documentation.
  • Document cloud processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate with senior and lead engineers to learn best practices in cloud automation, security, and DevOps.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
