Cresset is seeking an Associate, Investment Analyst to join Cresset’s Wealth Advisory team. The Investment Analyst will be key in delivering exceptional experiences for high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) individuals and families. This position will work closely with the Wealth Advisors assisting the team with investment and portfolio management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; may be on track or interest to earn CFA or CFP designations, but not necessary
  • Previous work / internship experience in financial services required; 2+ years’ experience preferred
  • Series 65 license required; unlicensed candidates required to obtain the license within 120 calendar days of employment
  • Highest ethical standards with willingness to learn and comply with SEC and other company required rules and regulations
  • Strong desire to be part of a team with an entrepreneurial, kind and open-minded spirit
  • Experience and genuine interest in the industry
  • Initiative, problem solving ability, adaptability, and flexibility
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong numerical aptitude

  • familiarity with E-Money
  • knowledge of Salesforce, Addepar, and custodial platforms is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Proactively support the Wealth Advisor by providing excellent client service and maintaining a high level of client satisfaction
  • Prepare materials to support client and prospect engagement; including: Generating performance reports; Investment allocation and reallocation proposals; Identifying opportunities within existing portfolios
  • Assisting with the implementation of client portfolio trades, including execution, margin maintenance, and settlement; and Generating financial planning proposals which are guideposts for investment decisions
  • May attend client and / or prospect meetings
  • Work closely with Wealth Advisors, Client Associates, and/or various internal and external parties as needed
