About The Position

This position provides technical oversight and support, in collaboration with IT, Biomedical/Clinical Engineering, Nursing, Facilities, EVS and other departments, for the ministry Real Time Locating System (RTLS) by tagging and tracking owned and rented assets or Movable Medical Equipment (MME) across the ministry and coordinating environmental temperature monitoring, to include refrigerators, freezers and clinical spaces, in collaboration with departmental core leaders. Specifically coordinates with Biomedical/Clinical Engineering and Facilities departments MME repair and routine preventive maintenance. Provides education/training to the ministry core leaders about the RTLS system and facilitates setting alerts/alarms in response to adverse environmental conditions to meet regulatory requirements. Requirements

  • Coursework/Training: Education and training must include equivalent of 2 years of college courses in any field. Or 2 year degree in Business Administration/BioMed Technology
  • 2 years Experience with ordering, stocking, tagging equipment and monitoring using RTLS technology.
  • Healthcare system equipment role (e.g., equipment tech, inventory specialist, materials management, central supply, or similar).

Nice To Haves

  • Coursework/Training: BioMed Technology, Electronics, Healthcare Administration. Or equivalent educ/experience.
  • Coursework/Training: Successful completion of education training course, inventory control, project management, BioMed Tech. Or equivalent educ/experience.
  • 1 year Lead, coordinator or supervisor role.
