As an Integration Specialist at Stryker, you will play a crucial role in the on-site physical installation, functional testing, and quality inspection of advanced surgical equipment, including surgical light suspensions, surgical booms, and video integration systems. This position is field-based, requiring you to travel extensively to various healthcare environments such as emergency rooms (ER), operating rooms (OR), intensive care units (ICU), trauma centers, catheterization labs, hybrid ORs, and surgery centers. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver a world-class customer experience by installing integrated audio-visual, mechanical, and network systems tailored to meet the specific needs of caregivers. In this role, you will collaborate closely with internal teams, including sales, project engineering, project management, and field service, as well as external teams such as electricians, plumbers, general contractors, and perioperative hospital staff. You will represent Stryker in daily customer interactions, ensuring clear communication and thorough documentation of project timelines, pre-installation requirements, equipment delivery, installation progress, and room turnover. This position requires 100% travel from Monday to Friday, emphasizing the need for flexibility and adaptability in your work schedule. Your responsibilities will include confirming site readiness, performing detailed product inventories, installing surgical systems and associated cabling, programming and testing video integration sources, troubleshooting equipment failures, and maintaining accurate records of installation activities. You will also be responsible for coordinating with quality assurance teams to ensure compliance with regulatory and operational requirements, interpreting complex wire diagrams and CAD drawings, and managing your travel arrangements based on job locations. Additionally, you will provide project updates to stakeholders, maintain relationships with project stakeholders, and advocate for safe work practices throughout your installations.
