Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems sector is seeking an Associate Industrial Security Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Palmdale, CA.

Requirements

  • 4 years of Industrial Security or related security experience with a high school diploma OR 0 Years with a bachelor's degree
  • Candidate must have and be able to maintain an Active U.S. Government security clearance at the Secret level with a background investigation date within the last 6 years
  • Ability to obtain and maintain access to a Special Access Program (SAP)

  • Experience working in a SAP environment
  • Working knowledge of 32 CFR Part 117 and DoD SAP Manuals
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrate a positive working relationship with internal and external customers
  • Working knowledge of NG and Govt. systems : DISS, JADE, SIMS
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong working knowledge of basic office automation tools such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

  • Primarily responsible for processing Program Access Requests, auditing and ensuring accuracy of documents, and maintaining access rosters.
  • Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies.
  • Manage information in proprietary systems and excel spreadsheets with a high rate of accuracy.
  • Knowledge of electronic recordkeeping and corporate archival functions.
  • Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations in order to support various additional Personnel Security Functions.
