About The Position
The Associate II, Fund Administration position at American Endowment Foundation (AEF) is a vital role within the Fund Administration Department, responsible for the accurate and timely opening and maintenance of donor-advised funds (DAFs). Established in 1993, AEF is one of the largest independent DAF sponsors in the nation, dedicated to expanding philanthropy through a people-driven culture that prioritizes client experience. The Associate II will work closely with financial professionals and their associates to gather necessary information for establishing and administering DAF accounts, ensuring compliance with established procedures and standards. In this role, the Associate II will report directly to the Associate Director II, Fund Administration. The position requires a meticulous approach to preparing investment paperwork and recording data accurately in AEF's systems. The Associate will act as a liaison between various departments, including Business Development and Business Oversight, to facilitate the smooth opening and maintenance of funds. This involves collaborating with financial professionals to assess DAF applications and investment account paperwork, ensuring that all necessary signatures are obtained and that information is kept up to date in the Fund Management System. The Associate II will also be responsible for monitoring data within the Fund Information Management System (FIMS) and completing the Profile and Fund Module with relevant donor advised fund information. Providing exceptional service is a key aspect of this role, as the Associate will handle incoming calls and emails from financial professionals and associates regarding paperwork and requests related to DAFs and investment accounts. This position is essential for maintaining the integrity and efficiency of AEF's fund administration processes, ultimately contributing to the organization's mission of enhancing philanthropic giving.
