Position Summary & Key Responsibilities As an Associate II, you'll lead teams to accomplish complex tasks on Federal emergency management projects that impact national preparedness and response capabilities. To be successful in this role, you'll need to excel in four key areas: Project Management: Lead projects and complex tasks to produce high-quality results based on contractual requirements, while maintaining a healthy timeline, budget, and team environment Client Relationship Management: Build trusting relationships with clients to align solutions with their needs, establish a collaborative team culture, and cultivate longer-term opportunities for new business Subject-Matter Expertise: Provide emergency management insights to enhance service quality and create compelling solutions for Federal clients Leadership and Culture: Manage and mentor project team members by setting clear expectations, providing key tools, and ensuring 360-degree feedback that is timely, candid, and supportive Every CONSTANT team member is expected to proactively contribute to our positive and collaborative culture by upholding our core values of integrity, service, quality, team, and gratitude.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of progressive consulting, emergency management, and/or professional service delivery experience
  • Direct experience managing people
  • Demonstrated success managing projects, including budgets, risk mitigation, resource allocation, QA/QC, and effective delegation
  • Excellent communication, writing, and facilitation skills
  • Proficiency in MS 365 suite
  • Eligibility to work in the United States
  • Ability to travel approximately 20%
  • Ability to pass Federal background investigations

Nice To Haves

  • Based in the National Capital Region
  • Direct experience with the Small Business Administration or other federal agencies with emergency management responsibilities
  • Master's degree in emergency management, public administration, or a related field
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) certification
