About The Position
The Associate II, Donor Support at American Endowment Foundation (AEF) plays a crucial role in ensuring a positive experience for donors and financial advisors. This position is part of the Donor Support team, which is dedicated to enhancing philanthropic experiences through exceptional service. The Associate II will be responsible for responding to incoming calls, addressing questions, and resolving issues related to donor-advised funds. This includes onboarding new donors by providing an overview of AEF's donor-advised fund program requirements and guiding them through AEF's online portal. The role requires a strong understanding of donor fund-related issues, procedures, processes, and systems to effectively assist donors and financial advisors. In addition to direct donor interactions, the Associate II will maintain relationships with donors throughout the life of their donor-advised fund and investment account. This involves providing responsive service, educating donors about AEF's business model, and assisting with administrative tasks such as changes in advisors, successor arrangements, and gifting and granting processes. The individual will also be responsible for preparing solutions to questions and issues raised by donors, ensuring timely and accurate responses, and recording all activities in the CRM system according to established processes. The Associate II will collaborate with internal operations and development teams to manage program requirements and may participate in the development of strategic solutions to meet the needs of donors and financial advisors. This position requires a high level of professionalism, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion. The Associate II will also take on projects and other work as directed by the Associate Director of Donor Support, contributing to the continuous improvement of services provided by AEF.
