About The Position

We are seeking an Associate of Data Quality Management to support our growing data management needs. This person will be an important team player contributing to a global operations team. This position requires strong analytical skills, experience reviewing large data sets, and the utmost attention to detail. The ideal candidate is an intellectually curious individual, independent and self-motivated, who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment. We are looking for candidates with a degree in Finance, Business, or other related field. Those with a high level of attention to detail, experience in data analysis, and knowledge of the financial markets will succeed in this role. Project management experience a plus.

Requirements

  • 4-year college degree: Business, Finance, Economics degree strongly preferred
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment while maintaining high attention to detail
  • Strong ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Enthusiastic, eager to learn and takes initiative
  • Team orientated, must be able to work well with others
  • Ability to handle assigned tasks with minimal supervision
  • Humble and collaborative team player

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years Financial Services experience
  • Data analysis and/or reconcilliation experience
  • Database experience
  • SQL knowledge

Responsibilities

  • Reconcile, research, and resolve daily money market fund accrual figures received from counterparties with internal accrual calculations within the application
  • Review weekly fund, counterparty and sector data breaks within ICD programs and work with internal and external data sources to resolve
  • Research new counterparty additions and work with internal teams to properly map to source records
  • Analyze patterns in data issues and work with third party data providers to improve quality and completeness of data
  • Develop and implement methods for data collection and reliability
  • Ensure integrity of data, verifying information regarding data quality and data completeness
  • Report to leadership on data quality compliance
  • Establish trusted relationships through communication and support with business unit teams and data providers
