About The Position

The Assembly Associate I performs basic electro-mechanical assembly tasks under direct supervision. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals beginning their manufacturing career. Team members at this level learn foundational assembly techniques, develop familiarity with tools and documentation, and support production activities while building experience and consistency. Schedule: This position follows a part-time weekend schedule of 36 hours per week, working Friday through Sunday. This compressed schedule provides full-time hours across three days.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Basic understanding of hand tools and mechanical concepts
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• High school diploma or GED required
• No prior experience necessary – training provided

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a production or team-based environment is a plus

Responsibilities

• Assemble simple components using hand tools, fixtures, and basic equipment
• Follow work instructions, visual aids, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Perform visual inspections and basic quality checks on assembled parts
• Assist in preparing parts, materials, and workstations for daily operations
• Work collaboratively with team members and respond to feedback and coaching
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in line with lean/5S practices
• Participate in training sessions and skill development activities
• Meet assigned production goals and report any issues to the lead or supervisor
