About The Position

This job contributes to BioTissue success through the inter-site movement, distribution, receipt, and inspection of products and materials. All activities performed must adhere to BioTissue policies and procedures. The core of the job functions include the proper and timely execution of product and material receipts, customer order processing, product packaging, and warehouse management/functions, along with the safe and efficient movement of materials through the warehouse system while adhering to other business requirements within the Distribution Department. Incumbent will also be responsible for daily coordination and communication with Customer Service to ensure finished goods are delivered in accordance with customer expectations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma Required
  • 1+ Years experience in Distribution, Required
  • 1+ years in Material Handling, Required
  • 1+ Years Customer Service, Required
  • Fluent in English (Oral/Written)
  • Proficient in Microsoft software applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • ERP/inventory control system experience (1+ year) is required.
  • Knowledge of equipment maintenance, ability to operate required material handling equipment.
  • Familiarity with American Association of Tissue Banks, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Hazardous Analysis.
  • Knowledge of international shipping.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
  • Ensures quality by continually reviewing work to detect and correct errors.
  • Responsible for the daily distribution of temperature sensitive products (both domestically and internationally) in accordance with GMP/GTP Requirements and Regulatory Guidelines.
  • Responsible for the accurate, timely, and complete shipment of customer orders while adhering to company policies, SOPs, and GMP/GTP Regulatory Guidelines.
  • Responsible for shipping wet lab (Research Tissue) orders and other miscellaneous marketing collateral/inter-departmental shipments.
  • Coordinate with Customer Service to plan and track the shipment of human tissue final products according to customer requirements.
  • Perform a range of packaging, shipping, receiving and inventory control duties; including loading and unloading of trailers, replenishing stock, filling orders, providing inventory services, and completing required documentation of product movement.
  • Receive, inspect, and reconcile all manufactured human tissue finished products from QA to commercial availability.
  • Perform pre-packaging and labeling of PROKERA® Product Boxes and FLO Product Boxes.
  • Maintain logs and records of warehouse stock via weekly cycle counting of finished goods and raw materials.
  • Weekly preparation of inter-company FedEx Shipments.
  • Coordinate, execute and maintain TissueTech's reverse logistics both via physical returns and within the ERP system.
  • Provide support to internal customers, such as: Quality, Production, R D, Supply Chain, Finance, Facilities, HR, Customer Service, and Marketing Teams.
  • Responsible for other projects and duties as assigned.
